SICULIANA MARINA BEACH

The Siculiana Marina beach is made up of a stretch of fine sand lying in an inlet that borders on a protected nature reserve to the west. The coast that characterizes this area of ​​South Western Sicily, embracing the coastline from Sciacca to Agrigento, is among the most beautiful on the island and in Italy. The Siculiana sea is limpid and crystalline and takes on a thousand shades due to the sandy bottom and shallow near the shore, dotted here and there with flat rocks from which to dive. Along the coast the beaches of fine sand alternate with high white cliffs to precipice on the sea, surrounded by wild nature.

TORRE SALSA BEACH

Who is on holiday in Siculiana should not miss to visit the Natural Reserve of Torre Salsa and its beaches, which in this stretch of coast are truly spectacular. They stretch for several kilometers between cliffs and sand dunes and are located in a very varied natural environment, which with its extraordinary beauty enchants tourists and swimmers.

HOW TO REACH IT

Access to the beach is from the paths of the reserve accessible from the Pantano, Eremita and Cannicella entrances, which can be reached by taking the provincial road 87 and the state 115. The Cannicella entrance allows you to approach the beach from above and enjoy a beautiful landscape. More convenient is the entrance that takes place from the Pantano tramp. In the area there is a parking area and a camper parking area. The surrounding landscape, with its natural terraces furrowed by the waters of the streams and the ridges of the nearby hills, offers beautiful views. The stretch of coast where the Cannicella beach is located, near the mouth of the river of the same name, is full of charm. The Torre Salsa beach is bordered to the east by the long stretch of Siculiana Marina sand and to the west by the Montallegro beach which takes the name of Bovo Marina.

HOW TO REACH IT

The Giallonardo beach stretches between Siculiana Marina and the municipality of Realmonte and is bordered to the east by Punta Secca, after which you can swim in one of the coves that characterize the stretch of coast that reaches Capo Rossello. The first one to meet is the one called “La spiaggetta” and a clayey ridge in the background. From here you can admire the promontory with the marvelous Torre di Monterosso, from which the sea was once scrutinized in search of Saracen ships. Continuing in this direction, you can swim at the beach Le Pergole that extends up to Capo Rossello at the top of which there is a lighthouse. The last stretch of the coast of Realmontese, which goes as far as Punta Piccola, welcomes the marvelous beaches of Lido Rossello and Scala dei Turchi. To the west the Giallonardo beach borders with Siculiana Marina and its marvelous expanses of golden sand.

GIALLONARDO BEACH

The beach of Gelonardo, known to most with the name of Giallonardo beach, is one of the most beautiful of Realmonte and this stretch of coast of South Western Sicily.
